An 8-month-old Indonesian boy’s life has been rebuilt thanks to a joint Indonesian and Pacific Partnership medical team.
The boy in question, Hendra Mangadil, required approximately 5 hours of neurosurgery and maxillofacial surgery to correct a portion of his brain lining that was protruding through a hole in his skull between his eyes.
Amazing surgical work! How wonderful for this little boy!
“…no complications …” Wow. What a blessing. Watching Mercy’s crew work so hard encourages me, thousands of miles away and in a different world, to work hard and keep others’ needs first.
